For What Ales You
*We feature a seasonal selection of beer from some of our favorite state brewers.
Epic Brewing Company
Epic Brewing focuses on high-alcohol, bold-flavored beers. Its Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout and Tart N’ Juicy Sour IPA are well-regarded nationally. With its small-batch, experimental approach, Epic likes to mix things up, offering unique seasonal and limited-release beers that are surprising, delicious, and fun.
Wasatch Brewery
Wasatch founder Greg Schirf was appalled when he moved from Milwaukee to Utah in the early 80s and found a serious lack of local craft beers. Greg helped change Utah’s archaic brewing laws and opened the state’s first brewpub. Today, Wasatch is known for its creativity and humor with beers like Polygamy Porter that take a light-hearted jab at Utah’s unique history and drinking culture.
Squatters Pub Brewery
Squatters was a pioneer among Utah breweries, and many of its creations have become cornerstones in the state’s craft beer scene. Their Chasing Tail Golden Ale, Hefeweizen Wheat Beer, and Hop Rising Double IPA offer a great taste of what Utah beers are all about.
Vernal Brewing Company
Vernal Brewing Company, a hidden gem in eastern Utah, celebrates the rural roots and outdoor spirit of its hometown. They use local ingredients to craft beers that reflect the region's character, and many of their beers are named after local landmarks and history.
Uinta Brewing Company
Uinta Brewing Company is known for its commitment to sustainable and responsible brewing. In 2001 it became the first Utah brewery to power its production with 100% wind energy. Named after Utah’s unique mountain range, Uinta offers a diverse range of beers inspired by the state’s stunning landscapes and rich history. Their iconic Cutthroat Pale Ale and Hop Nosh IPA are popular both locally and nationally.
Proper Brewing Co.
Proper Brewing in Salt Lake City and in Moab is renowned for producing adventurous, boundary-pushing beers. They bring fresh new flavors to IPAs and stouts, but they also offer unique styles like goses and barrel-aged beers. Proper prides itself on being 100% Utah-owned and operated.
